Aye wood say siz 3/0 hook to a 4/0 hook mate

If your using jelly worms and its from shore mate lead heads are not nessasary :) just a good strong 3/0 or 4/0 sacuma on a nice long mono trace. Attach a snaplink on the end of your mainline and add a weight to this and the mono trace thread the worm on the hood. Works a dream and less faff on. :)

Hmm i think i prefer the idea of having the weight at the heed - makes beter sense for casting (to me anyway). Back to original question - would a 40g heed n a 4/0 through it be the daddy? the the worm offered up to the heed dressed along the hook..

i lyk yousing jigg heads if tide bit silly but part from that a 4/0 hook is just as good as you get lot moe movement on your bait

howay man wheres the weight - you not explaining yoursell well. i take it attached to a 30lb shocker then the hook comes off it on a snood with the hook n work attached
