just been listening to the news and see the jocks are reducing the legal limit for alcohol in the blood when driving, apparently 1 pint could put you over the limit. Limit in England will surely follow same as with tabs and I reckon this could be the last straw for the country boozer.
funny like this legislation coming from probably the biggest p.ss artists in the world:D
 
Personally wouldnt even have a pint if I was going to be driving Gordon so it won't effect me and I can see the positive side of it as well stopping people making daft errors but.... As you say though it will probally effect the Sunday lunch trade etc.... My dad certainly wouldn't go out for his dinner without a beer to go with it lol. Don't know why thy have brought it down to a level where one pint puts you over. Surely its easier just to say no alcohol at all if your driving and save the grief!

It just confirms the sophistication of us Scots Gordon! The smoking ban was the death knell of the pubs I think.
 
there should be a total ban on alcohol when driving drink driving kills far to many people I drive for a living and see far to many accidents on our roads granted not all alcohol related but I know of two last year where there were deaths don't drink and drive it kills

Mmmmmm read this wrong.....was going to say in my experience about 15 hours,got nee stamina or staying power just fall asleep at the bar.
 
think zero tolerance makes it simpler for all,im sure one of the scandanavian countries do this.
should have been brought ito force many years before it was(im on about the current limit)

having been one of the totally stupid "ill get away with it" crowd im not sure what saved us in those days? less traffic slower cars etc god knows:question:

all i know is i look back and shudder at the thought of my own stupidity:mad:

most jocks are ****ed 24/7 so thats most of them fooked for driving
