Joining a club

Having been fishing for a couple of years and being fairly unsuccessful, I have been contemplating joining a club. The problem is that i dont know where any are and Im not confident enough to just turn up somewhere and say \'hello can I fish with you\'.

Can anybody sujest something please?

Hi again Leeruss. If you fancy turning out for a session on Blyth beach let me know. I am up there most weekends would enjoy the company mate. Will be up there this Saturday afternoon.

I live in shields and would love to join a club but i wouldnt now if i am classed as a junior or adult (im 17 bye the way nockin on 18 in 9 minths time )

and i dont now many clubs that are about. Any one help me???????

I thought the Shields Club had a Junior section (?) Nicky in ID will let you know if that\'s the case or not.

I understand your problem, Brashy - at what age DOES a \"junior\" stop being a \"junior\" ?? It seems to vary from situation to situation.
