just back from shields pier

just got back from south shields pier, rather diasappointing like, had 3 bags rag, 2 lug 6 crab, with the outcome being one flounder n getting soaking. fished to the left of the blocks looking seaward side. then moved down to the first gate for last hour.

I went down our local river flyfishing last night and was surrounded by midges.And caught nowt.
Still like you i got out and thats what counts.

yeah thats the good thing, am hoping to go up isle of whithorn on me 2 days off next week so that should be more promising,

a didnt mate but seen one or two caught. i had a rapala in me bag and put it on the light rod for ten mins and span over the blocks hoping for a pollock but didnt get one.
