Just Done a Wreckie

Seaton used to be great for big runny\'s. You should do alright, dont think the cold will knock them off.
I have had some of m best digs during the really cold spells.
Good luck

Been out tonight looking at a few marks along the Whitburn way, took two lads down to show them a mark then had a little wander.
What surprised me (or did it) was there was no one else down.
After all the fuss about mark X i would have thought maybe the odd one(at Least) off the board would be down checking out some of the low water marks during these big tides.
No, most of you would rather sit in front of the computer and moan about others who do their homework and do not disclose their info on various marks.
its no wonder not many of you seem to catch fish!
If whitburn is the only place you fish i would have thought you would know most if not all of the good shots without having to do a recci.

Whitburn is not the only place i fish, and yes i do know it fairly well but in these tides you can get pretty close to where you would expect your bait to land on normal size tides and get some idea onto what type of ground you are fishing.
Not to mention things do change from year to year.
Wherte were you? Did you catch? or were you scouting also?
was up around the hadston/hauxley area scouting with rods in tow.
me & my mate got 1 each , both 5lb.

i dont know the names mate but id never seen it so emptied out before and with the fog it was like a different place altogether to what i thought .
theres loads of nice spots though when the tides a bit smaller i bet.

Nice one, i bet you a pound to a penny your next outing at that mark will make you think about where you are going to cast your bait.
Hope your rewarded for your efforts.
