just in from an early morning session

Just got back in from a cracking little session, fished a local rock mark during the flood to high water and a wee bitty over. Nice early morning, sea was flat.

Was into fish straight away.

Ended up with 3 codling all size up to 38cm, had a stonking bite, fish fought hard keeping itself deep all the way in, as i lifted it out of the water up to the ledge, it dropped off, looked to be around the 3-4lb mark, the codling where all fresh run fish. then to finish it off i had a couple of decent coalie's one 38cm and the other 40cm.

All fish went back bar one codling that was deep hooked and bleeding.

I have to admit, i was more impressed with the coalie's than the codling as i havnt had a size coalie for fooking yonks

Had to leave as i ran out of crab lol
