No probs Ken m8 :D

I wasnt going to put the bit about the phone, but just thought it may be helpful to let some lads know that a mobile is a very important piece of kit when rock hopping at night.
Its so easy to slip or fall, get lost, get cut off or even phone for help for someone else who has got into trouble.

Mike I have a whistle attached to my suit, but in the heat of the momment totally forgot it was there (I\'m a knobhead at times).
What I forgot to mention is I cannot swim a stroke and I\'m not to keen on being alone in the dark :o :o ;) even tho I always go to these pitch black dangerous places on my own.
Please dont follow my example, try to go accompanied at all times.

when fishing at the bottom of cliffs around ryhope you have to look up and behind you at night ( beware of flying cars ) neary sh-t myself one night saw the head lights and heard the engine growling then it moved away from me two mins later craaaaaaash they drove it off the cliff further along ,honestly thought it was swimming time as the only way would have been in the water if they drove it down where i was .

Are u sure it wasnt someone futher down the beach using his moby to call his car to him nightrider style (he may have left his bait in the boot) lol ;) ;) ;)

I had a really bad session the last time I was out. Picture the scene, angler in his prime, all the muscles, quite young ! Best bait money can buy (from local tackle shops anyway ;) and a few a few dozy buzzers or whatever (Fly Shit). Sea had been well away. £10:00 deisel 1 hr drive. caught nowt.

Where\'s the fucking Carp?

Not really one of those sessions, but thought you\'d all like to hear this...

I was fishing the lane down Hendon a while ago, beside the steps. If you don\'t know the place, to cast out, you have to lift your rod up, put your gear over the top of the 8ft high concrete wall behind you and cast like that, all this bearing in mind that behind the wall is used as a path!

Anyway, I put my gear over the wall, cast out, and noticed this red thing flapping its way out to sea attached to my gear. This bloke then come up the steps asking where his cap had gone!!! :D :D

Just got back from Arbroath and reckon someone put a jinx on myself and Scott (bigman).started fishing on fri at a mark and there was loads of fish about.Every cast had a fish on but could i hell get them out, solid every time i struck into one.To make matters worse,my cousin was fishing the same rig at the same distance and got 7 or 8 out no problem!
On sat i started at one mark, had nowt so moved and got a fish straight away, then my cousin got one but the excitment at a decent session must have got too me as i then had an asthma attack and spent the next hour in Arbroath infirmary!!
But my luck has too change sometime so i am straight off out now to fish a club match with that sea running if i dont catch tonight i quit!
I will let scott decide if he wants to bleat on about his own nightmare session!!!!

Fished the comp on Saturday with my new torch bought by Rod for xmas. \"Shall we bother with two lamps\" says he \"Nah\" says I. Two minutes into the comp and a fish on the beach and whilst baiting up the light goes out. Have you ever seen a 60 year old optician trying to do a snood up to the illumination of the moon ? Pi***d myself.
