fished the north bank of the wear just upstream from the alexandra bridge last 2 hours of the flood. used fresh crab, 2 rods with 2 hook flappers. first cast nothing on either rod but after that i had fish every single cast often double shots. lost count of the coalies, 6 flounders, 2 eels and 1 whiting. all the coalies were just under size except on my last cast i got one out size. the flounders were mostly on the small side and the whiting was just undersize. nothing big again but made up for with the numbers.
