In a bit of a dilemma whether to get my new black bird built up with k guides or not i know they are mainly used for braid anglers to help on tangles ect but i mainly use mono but mite dibble in braid in the future. I carnt see any harm in getting it built with them even tho i use mono but just havent had any experience with these guides

I had them on my TTSM and they were spot on with mono,dint nar bout braid,also they look awasome,better looking than the fuji bhngs.
 
Cheers 09gmarsh2009 and codcatcher3000 for the advice i have been talking to the rod builder who is going to build my black bird and he says to use the k guides not just because there one of the best rings for the rod but because i will be using a fixed spool and they will help decrease the size of the loops comming off my spool allowing for a smoother cast :-)
 
I have been putting k guides on rods for a couple of years now. Everyone i have put them on for have been very happy with them and said the line flow is alot smoother and made the rod better to cast and fish with.
 
Andy primo man has just put a set of k guides on my eliminator and there mint I'd recommend them and him to build ur rod he's local and very good
 
Ahh sorry a never thought of asking for a local rod builder on here it slipped my mind , well i am going to do a matching pair but still saving the cash for the cash up for the second rod now well primo man you will be first contacted for the next build :)
