Kayak Boulmer 17/7/12

Had an afternoon session just north of Boulmer today all on me lones some. A good chance to see if I could manage the yak at me fav spot. All went ok the cart was been a bit of a pain and kept twisting of the yak. A few tweeks and it should be ok next time. Launched fine and the water was lovely and clear and almost flat calm. Stayed out from 2 till about 5 and caught the flood. The weather was lovely with light winds. Managed to find a spot were the fish were taking and ended up with 4 cod all about 3lb with macky and a flatty all taken on macky strip on hokki's. In all a good session best one I've had up to now. it was all topped of with 2 porpoise passing by.

good report m8 nice to see u made it out ,ive getting meself a yak this wk after saving up the cash,just got to get the bits n pieces next now ,cant wait m8,looks great and good photo s keep em coming.
