went to tynemouth haven 3 foot swell and foggy when we arrived, but nice andcalm at launch point george was out fishing for the first time in his ocean caper , launch went perfect i put nice whole mackeral in lobster pot and dropped it on the way out hopping for some thing nice on my return fished right up to end of pier one byte between the two of us , Neil arrived looked paddled about could not see anything on neils fishfinder so decided to call it a day on the way in pulled up lobster pot coudnt believe it not even a crab but still good to get out heres a few pics of the day jeff

you can get a second hand yak 2to 300 quid beats being on the pier when thousand of kids and idiots come out for thier anual mackeral bashing on the pier in the summer jeff

Jeff we bottled it and went for a nice quiet paddle up the Blyth instead of fishing.

Amazing what you see in the Blyth!

Did A Little Kayak/Canoeing In Rivers In The Past You Get A Canny Little Work Out Paddling, But It Used To Do My Back No Favours. It Looks Very Tempting To Give It A Go,Thinking I Should Of Kept Hold Of My Paddling Gear (Hind Sight) That Would Of Cut The Cost Of Starting Out Down.
I Presume Being The Craft That They Are Your Looking At The Very Best Of Weather Conditions. As A Lot Of Boating Trips Are Cancelled Due To Weather There Must Be Alot More Kayaking. Still Tempting Though.
