yeh mate we have but now they will not pay out as say he is to old being a rocky and at age 15, so i am trying now to get money back we have payed them, carnt believe it cost £345 to get a tinny tube put in his ear, cost my £50 just to get it drained.
im in the wrong job

Try a few different vets.
We had a prob with our lab. He had knee & hip joint probs insurance was as much as burning water on a fire
Then tried a vet near shiremoor who sorted his knee & got insurance to payout for the work
Different examples but I'm sure & hope another vet will sort things out for you

Surely if the insurance company were full aware of your dogs age and condition when they let you take the policy. Then to take your money, they accepted the contract. Have a word with Citizens Advice.

I can understand why you have to put up the yak for sale mike your dog is your best M8. my dog is 12 and he is going deaf + has problems with his eyes cost me £29 a week for his medication but he is worth every penny. apart from that he is a fit as a fiddle more than I can say for myself.
vets charges are just over the top there are three vets in my area and they all have different fees
you can always get another yak later on, hard to replace a dog he part of the family hope thing go well for him
