Not sure about this forum but kayaking very popular on Whitby sea angling forums. Must be better ground especially from Sandsend.

thanks dt1 what type of kayak do you use i fancying the trident 11 or the 13 for myself going to northeast kayaks paddles on sat to try one of there perception kayaks

Started with a big game, then a stealth evolution ,now using a scupper pro and also have a hobie adventure and a cobra which i might try for first time the morn. There are a few yaks for sale on anglers afloat, this is time of year to buy, once spring /summer comes they sell easier. You need to try a few see how they feel, depends on your size and experience, you can try any of mine if it helps..........Dave.
