keeping fresh bait

splash of fresh sea water and a cat litter tray or 2 in the fridge does the job, take any blisstered or sick looking worms staight out and change the water if its colored straight away;) dont know about rag but whites can keep for a month or more if you look after them as said mate;):D

The way I keep them mate is a fridge, trays, air-pumps - healthy worm to start with, not too many in a tray. Check as frequently as you can and remove any worms that look a bit sad or worse for wear, change water if discolured, remove snot and all crap that they filter through them and you cant go wrong with rag. Oldest lot I have at present have been in my fridges for approx 7weeks, they dont usually hang around that long but these westerlies are starting to hack me off! You can virtually keep rag for ever mate, they do get a bit hungry after a while though and start giving each other a nibble, tried feeding some long timers sinking catfish pellets before in the past. Best of luck.

Mick.
