afternoon

anyone know where to go flyfishing from the bank at kielder any tips or hotspots etc will be great help

also anyone know if much catching

stayed at kielder last year for 4 days fished every day then at night never got a touch never mind a fish dont know anybody who's been up there this year so dont know how its fishing just along from the reception to the right at the ski club there's a nice bit bank that apparently fishes well not one of my favorite places probably because i have never caught any fish there. my mate goes up there a few times a year and he always fishes the bank mentioned and always catches fish just goes to show you.

Saturday lovely day fished bull crag peninsula 1st cast nice 1lb brownie

loads of fish rising but couldnt get them to take any of the million flies we put out at them so much choice for them, changed to an orange fritz wasnt even wet and bang 2lb rainbow continued like this all afternoon ended up with 15 fish between 2 of us - really good day

yesterday

went to same place as wind was making things trick not a touch, this time put a black buzzer on and drifted it in the wind was getting a knock a cast came away with 5 fish in the space of 2 hours but was hard going

There was someone else used an orange fritz at Derwent not so long ago. I used one the other day at Derwent but did,nt have any luck.
