is it worth fishing the prom at king eddys this time of year, thinking of trying after dark on a flooding tide, can you get flatties there.fish it in winter for codling but never had a go this time of year

What part of king eddys bay do you fish for coddys in the winter like ?

Either end of the bay as close to the skeers as possible (although you will get fish over the whole bay). On a high tide all the way up the prom is just about fishable but prepare for some tackle loss towards the north end. There's a channel in the rocks that is visible at low tide, I have had fish from there over high water during big seas in winter.
As for summer I wouldn't bother fishing over the rocks, try the bay for flatties and into the surf for bass.
