Fished Knitsley mill in Devles lane Consett today on a £15 sporting ticket despite the horrible weather, the fishing was red hot i landed 13 trout, all fully finned pristine trout, out of the 13 caught biggest was just under 6Lb but overall strong fighting fish, got all but 1 on a white zonker and quick retrieve on intermediate line well worth a look down there

What are the winter opening and closing times.

here is a pic of the 3 lakes its a wonderful fishery friendly and helpful staff.

i usually fish most lures cats,fritz,zoker,dawsons all really work just about experimenting.

opening times i think 8am not 100% sure if not 8 it will be 9 and closes at dusk
