iv had both the ss and tts the ss is a stiff rod with a good bite detection tts mk2 also has a good bite detection

whats the tt super match like the venues i fish wont be rough ground mainly piers and beach with maybe the odd rough venue a few times a year

had the ss a couple of years now no complaints on bite detection,mate had super match only a couple of weeks tip was too soft for his casting style couldnt get away with it

I think the tip tornado supermatch would be ideal for the areas you`ve mentioned beaches and piers,and a bit mixed ground,nice rods.

if i ever go back to sea fishing ile be buying a ss top quality rod and ive had quite a few top end rods the ss wins hands down

Love my SS and wouldn't part with it, it's a rod that's not gonna let you down when that biggun comes along, if your fishing I'n the rough ground or fishing a Mark where there's a big lift involved to land a fish,(pier wall , cliff top etc) then it's all the rod youl ever need, briliant piece of kit nd a pleasure to cast IMO

I've got a ss very nice rod but mainly i use my tt match. easy casting the tip is a lot stiffer than the super match but the butt is softer, i use mine everywhere from piers, beaches, rivers and the cliffs. but in rough conditions i'll use the ss. both top rods
