Korkis Kanny Katch! 7.5lb bass

cheers tony i wish i had been born rich instead of good looking. i knew you would come up trumps with a nice christian type comment.

Going back a few years, I seem to remember the ministry of fisheries and agriculture eventualy deciding to make the area around Cambois warm water oufall pipe a "nursery area" for bass, after many years of gill netting and slaughter of these fish around this area. Trouble was, the same year they eventualy decided to act..Blyth power station closed for good. The warm water current stopped, and the bass scattered. I'm afraid to say it, but I personaly have no confidence in this government department. Like most of the other offices that are supposed to protect 'OUR' interests, they only act once it's too late. The expression..........shutting the gate after the horse has bolted springs to mind.

aye jimny good things come to those who wait lol! keeping well i hope, mail u soon. it was like catching a marlin on a beachcaster..

Aye Aye Chaps

hes done it again  , after his well reported 5lb bass the other month, boardmember Korki (Brain Corkhill of Gateshead for Mr Charlton!) has landed another clonking Bass from Seaton Seluice last night (Wed 21st) :red:

this time a whopping 7.5lb!

3/0 pulley rig with rotton bottom, with large rag/lug mix bait, half way through the tide going down did the damage. Two other Tommy Bass were caught as well around the 2lb mark, but were returned alive.

Will add a clearer pic when he emails it, for now enjoy this pic off a phone of a computer screen. ;)

A fine plump specimen! and a nice bass! Well Done Bri "Goldenballs" Korki! :)
