Went down to Blyth Pier for a few hours tonight as I needed a fishing fix

Armed with a float on one rod and spinner on the other I set about trying to catch me a fish!

...two and a half hours later I was ready to go having caught just a tiddler coalie down the side (to save the blank :D )

and the gentle westerlies that had been forecast were def more like 20mph gusts

anywho as I was walking off and with less than 100 yards to go before I was off the pier I saw a seagull looking down at the water with more than a look of curiousity about it so I decided to lash the spinner in to "have a gan"

Woopyaf***a :D

My one and only macky of the night, but on a 6-25 gram rated 6ft spinning rod and braid it felt MINT!!!

T'was like karma dudes :heartpump: (no Glasto for me this year either :()

Nice evening despite the wind
