Laptop Problems

Can anyone on here help or do you know where i can get a laptop fixed.

The point where you plug the power source in has been pushed back into the laptop so it won't charge. It's my sisters friends and she is lookin after it while her mate is on holiday. She is due back soon and would be a bit upset if her laptop is bust.

She has been told the part is only a tenna but it will cost £175 to fix :o

Sounds like you're being charged just for someone to open the thing up - have you shopped around? If the thing's just been "pushed in" I would doubt it needs replacing anyway. Unfortunately I can't help but I bet someone will be along soon enough.

I poured a pint of cider on our lasses brother's laptop and it cost me £150 :red:

had the same problem myself sony laptop and the charge unit was pushed inside the case, was quoted about the same price for repair,
so tried to do it myself, its still in a bag in bits:mad::mad::mad:
