Was asked by Dave Mason tonight why I hadn\'t put up a mention of me canny cod I got when I was out with him last Sunday.......I said I didn\'t wanna brag....lol

According to Richys; scales, it was 10lb.

Richy admitted tonight that his scales were out...................by 1 oz :(

So it was ACTUALLY 10lb 1 oz

And BEFORE anyone says owt abou pirks.............. DIVVENT !!!!...lol
 
Never had much (other than small whities and a mackeral) up until I stuck an orange pirk on the bottom of me hokkais instead of a 12oz weight. 1st drop with the pirk on and that\'s what I got..... :cool:
 
Yer i seen it....no pirks inside this one other than the pirk that the big beast went for.Going fishing tomora at 7am but it\'s not looking that good, 10mph south wind then going 15 mph south east...we will give it a bash anyway.

Richys pirtks will do the trick this week, you can but them from any good tackel shop with...wait no you cant just send your money to Richy £1 a pirk :)
 
Aye well done Tony, Didn\'t look as big as that from where I was fishing mind ;) . Well I was on another boat 40 yards away and Norman was in between us with a bottle of Carlsburg on one hand and a 8 1/2 pounder in the other. :D

Silver but the used ones will be red lol oopppss no i better not put that on the board as animal rights will be after me...never mind it\'s to late.. :)

Lol, Alan - can\'t remember the details, m8 - I was just enjoying being out there.

I wasn\'t keeping count.

Richy Roll, Ian Cutter and me went out with Dave Mason on his boat Dolly.

I know there were;
several cod taken between us (to 10lb 1oz)
Ian also got a Ling of around 6lb
Richy had a dozen Mackeral

Fished wrecks around 4 - 6 miles off the Tyne using daylites, hokkais, RoyD lures and the occasional pirk. As previously mentioned, the 10lber was taken on the pirk.

I\'m sure Richy would be able to give you a fuller account of the day, Alan - he likes his facts & figures (particularly the figure of the young lady who served us our beers at the Zetland afterwards...lol)

Dame right Ell, we got 6 todaya s well as some herring.No sorry mate i dont hvae much lead left and it\'s getting very hard to get it around my area, all the church roofs are out lol.

The lass in the bar started it by her comments lol seen her today, would love to catch that :)

Anyway we had 12 mackerel from wrecks 8miles out, 2 small codling around 2lb 8oz and 3lb, 2 7lb cod, a 10lb 1oz cod (1oz lol) and a ling about 7lb as well as the norms...whiting.

Fished the same wreck today but the drift was 2 very fast, we never got anything big but still caught fish...Dave lost a very good fish less than 10 foot under the boat it was taking line all the way up.
 
Waddya mean \"1oz lol\".........that 1oz means it\'s me biggest fish (to date)....lol.....(by 1oz) :P
