Had to take this past week off on leave (use it or lose it!) but couldnt have had a better week weather wise.
Went to walkway on Wednesday for a few hours from about 10am, had nowt, not a thing or even a bite!!
Thursday, tried Roker pier, as I hadnt fished there for years, again though, nowt. Couple of little knocks and one small crab!
Friday, Hebburn Marina saved me run of blanks, Flounder first cast, little codling on 2nd rod, some of the knocks were big especially for the small size of fish coming in
. It went like that for most of the time I was there, either flounders or tommie's on just about every cast.
Used rag (wasnt the best quality Ive had like) razor, blacks and some old frozen crab. Fish that were caught took anything that was there.
Oh and I trudged me lucky rod rest with me on each trip
