well me and a mate who is just starting out had decided to head to the huegh got there for 6pm and fished right thru til 0330 fishing was slow all the way thru with the odd bite resulting in a couple of colies and whiting and a small pout for my mate wich was a suprise to see although the fishing was slow i did see 2 codling landed one about 1lb by a bloke fishing the bottom right corner and another fishing the top at the end caught by a young lad no older than 13 fishing down the side of the pier weighing in at 2.5lb bait used was rag and crab

well done Dazz. I was out yesterday at the Walkway and really enjoyed myself-will be back on the heugh soon though.

yeah mick glad to see my mate have a suprise pout was a suprise to me too was his first time out he enjoyed it even thou it was quiet roll on the next few month...talking about the huegh there is a new way over the new fence or should i say thru it bit dodgy tho the bit that over hags the wall on the top has had the middle panel ripped off
