well had trip planned for today checked forcast last nite wasnt looking good so phoned lads and told them it was off got up this morning no wind checked weather again said southerlies trip back on phoned lads to meet up twelve we were out of piers by 12.30 loads of mackeral cod started to come aboard nothing big but table size then my mate sruck into something canny got it up it was a decent ling we weighed it it was 12 and a half pound so all in all glad i checked weather again it was ok out there a lazy swell the wind did change to north easterlies but sea was ok cheers keith for your reply didnt get it till i came in

cheers lads didnt seem to be many cod on the hard ground, two weeks ago they were jumpin in boat but not complaining fishin is still good thanks for your replies good luck on your fishing trips
