What's "lazy lugworm" ? Anybody please enlighten my ignorance.......with a title like lazy: sounds as if it doesn't want to work !!
Seriously though, Iv'e never heard of it, but I would be grateful if some kind person can educate me.

Just another con methinks!

havent yet read the review (Advertorial) but i can guess the magazines will be giving it rave reviews in the hope the company will advertise with them if they have not already done so.

Simply my own oppinion.

Background LazyLug™ was developed by a well respected competition sea angler from the Netherlands. His aim was to produce lug worm bait that could be stored, cooled or uncooled for over a year, whilst maintaining its full fish attracting capabilities, at sensible cost.Primarily, it allows lugworm to be kept cooled or un-cooled for many months without losing their natural appearance and their important scents and smells. In fact, many packs of LazyLug™ that were preserved three to four years ago continue to be viable today. The benefit of this long shelf life, to both retailer and angler, is that LazyLug™ can be purchased at anytime and kept for long periods without degradation or loss. The preserved bait presents and remains on the hook better than fresh; the skin and body become somewhat more firm during the preservationprocess. LazyLug™ does not burst like many natural worms as the hook penetrates, theydon’t wash out as quickly in the water, they stay on the hook better during heavy casting. APROX 19 TO 25 WORMS PER TUB!
hope this helps!!!!

Does your local tackle shop stock it then Terry? (sorry, I think I've just p*ssed my pants laughing)

Terry, I think there is a tackle shop around Jarrow you could try but it is sometimes said the owner can be a p##s taker especialy towards people called Zippie !

I've seen fish caught on it. Probably not as good as fresh, but it does work and is worth keeping some in case of emergencies.

Must be the first bait like this that does work!

I've wondered about this stuff. I seen some on the counter in Frasers last week and thought it would just be the same old chemical junk that's been on the go for ages.
Obviously doesn't compare to fresh bait, but would be handy for me as I fish to the timetable of my wifes menstrual cycle more-so than the tides!

I'm sensing a few in-jokes going on, but a proper review would be much appreciated.

I had a lolok at the stuff on the counter at Frazers in Whitley Bay last weekend. It looks okay, if not a bit rubbery. Only problem is the price £4.99 for approximately 20 worms that you aren't even sure if they work. My preference would be fresh lug, if this isn't available I would use frozen runnidown.

hi all i also think £5.00 is a bit pricey for what you get but remember you are also paying for the liquid they are in thats the secret,i have bought a tub using them tonight, but i am going to experiment by putting some rag back in the tub to see what happens if it works which i cant see no reason why not a fiver is a bargain you could use this for every bait ie whites mackeral squid i will post results in the mean time dont throught them tubs out!!!!!!!!lol

Rob adair, no my local tackle shop wont sell it cos he thinks it will not work very well. ( well he did use stronger words than that).

Fozally, with a name like zippie, well does that not beg a p***s take

Sorry david, al give you some crab

hi been out tonight used the lazy lug not a sniff at first but i then tipped it with a bit of squid and then the knocks came just fished byth river next to the pilot jetty but managed 2 flattys quite small 1 coalie and a small coding so in my opinion it does work if the fish are there and hungry they will take it got a few left i will use them next week then i will put some fresh lug or rag in tub and see what happens, worth a try if they are not stinking after a week its worked lol

Sounds like squid is the answer then!

John, ask yourself the question?

Could it have been the squid that attracted the fish?

You got no bites until you tipped the lazy lug with squid.

yes i know what you mean i still think it does something i have never caught flattys just on squid lets face it everybody tips there bait for one reason or other, i was out once last winter i was using crab and runnydown had nowt the boke next to me had 3 good fish in a hour on mussel its all luck if i had put mussel on i would have still got nowt lol
