Lazy mans way of rod finding

As the tital says i am after a new boat rod (dont know why i never go now lol) and i am after a 12-20lb rod none roller and a rod of about 8ft gave or take a foot.Looking at paying under £100 any ideas lads befor ei go pulling all the rods of the shelf at the local..i have abu rods at the moment and cant fault them but i want a change of rod.

i was about to suggest an abu suveron 12lb class it is light and the action on it is great bends right through to the butt.

I just got a Ugly stik solo 20lb class, 7ft long, I paid £55 for it at ID, but you can get them cheaper at Jims online. Seems canny to me.

Ugly Stick Rich ........ no need to think about it for boat take your choice 20 lb (best) or 30lb usually under £50

Abu Suveran is the business, but the price, phew! I have a pair of 12lb and a 20lb they are the bees knees. Second choice, Uglystick and the price is right. By the way, dont bother with the Suveran uptider. The adjustable butt can jam after a while is the word down south, I dont like the balance anyway, thats a personal opinion you understand. Light boat rods matched to the Abu 7000 or 7500 perfect. :thumbup: :yltype: CJS

Yer all i use now is a 12lb class abu rod but it\'s had a beating and i dont think it has many more seasons left in it..snap!!!ll be the sound soon i think.
Anyway cheers lads ill go and pester my local and get his rods out..owww errr
