what would the rough price of lead be at a scrap yard per kg.. anyone know of a scrapyard that sells it

£1 per kg when I 'phoned around a couple near Newcastle.

i bought a carrier bag full £5 from a scrappy in Consett-LISTERS. Just get a receipt.
Theres no problem at all in buying the stuff. They had tons.
