I Am Planning On Making Sinkers And Pirks As I Have Ran Out, I Have Made Hundrds In The Past With Scrap Lead I Have Been Given From People And I Was Woundering Wheres The Best Place To Get A Hold Of It? Ive Been Told You Can Get It At Scrapyards But Wasent Sure Of The Price, I Would Be Gratefull If You Could Tell Me Where Abouts In The Northeast I could Get Some And The Going Price Thanks.

Not all Scrapyards will sell to the public, I've bought some from JJ Stanley at Swalwell in the past usually about £1 per kilo.

I would think most scrapyards will sell you some lead to make sinkers with i know the ones in west sleekburn northumberland do as i've seen fishermen buying it.but not to sure on prices as prices of scrap seem to change daily.your best bet would be to phone your nearest scrappy and ask.

Some do but some dont as they should not really unless you hold a toxic metals cert

I wiped my local out of lead on Thursday 17 stone, should do me about 2 months :)

£87 lol would have rounded it up but took everything with out tarr on that they had, 6 rubble bags full...well 4 now as melted some already and lost half them as well :)...lost a further 4 pirks and 4 10oz leads today and 1x 6oz leadhead

If you know any builders especially roofers they usually have plenty try them also plumbers are a good bet

Here's me thinking Richy must have a low sports suspension set up on that Audio. It end up its just the weight of the lead in the boot. :D :D :D :D :D :D
