Typical. All the horse punchers crawl from under their rocks cos Sunderland lost a cup final. Your biggest game of the season was supporting another team and you've got nowt better to do than post on a fishing forum about it. Sad *******s

I never watched the match, just found out they lost when i seen the posts on here.
Toon had a hard season but safe thats all that we aim for our days under the current owner.
Heard Sunderland did well today but still got beat, at least they tasted Wembly, the toon have been twice in my lifetime and got beat from Arsnhole both times but still nice to be in the final.
Sunderland now have to get out the bottom three now or a season of failure could be around the conrner. Toons shocking season will be next year if we dont sell up and get someone in who will purchase a few players since all the papers have us losing a host of big names.

And beaten by Chelsea the following year in the semi final at Wembley. There was also a charity shield in 96 i think.

I remember Newcastle getting to Wembley plenty of times in recent years...
Anyway as a neutral I thought it was an excellent match. Would have preferred a Sunderland win but a good match, best team won and Sunderland gave a good account of themselves - excellent fans.
I really thought they where gonna do it at half time like!
I reckon the next Wembley trip is just around the corner anyway for the mackems

I would actually have liked to have seen Sunderland win, it would have made a change from then going on endlessly about punching horses
Mate of mine was at the match one who for all season posts horse punching jokes on his (and my) face book, 0-3 arena jokes - the full nine yards, I added a 'lol' to his facebook...
his response quite upset me to be honest. Suspect thats the end of that friendship
they are very fond of dishing it out but not so keen on taking it

I sure would have went if it was Hartlepool and been proud even if we had lost 5-0.
