I would just like to say that the Leazes Park Angling Association holds overnight competions and anglers do pleasure fish at night, inccidents are rare but its advisable and more sensible not to do so alone.

Yhe birds from the bigg market wouldnt bother me like atleast then tav got a reason for ya fingers to smell of fish

I used to fish leazes as a junior about 30 plus years ago, had my first ever carp from there, caught on freelined crackerbread off the surface, was about 8lb.
Mostly used to float fish for the perch tho, have some great memories of that place fishing with me schoolmates. cadged the money for a day ticket and a half pint of maggots
from J robertsons off me dad lol.

The fishing in there can be cracking, its the people that are useually there that spoil it :/
