Light summer rod any ideas ????

If you're fishing really light in the summer, cheap rods are fine. In fact, in my opinion, they can be even more fun because they bend so much. I got a Greys BZE 3oz rod for £100 a few years back to use for flatties off the beach in the summer. It's ok, but have found that a cheap Capalan telescopic (£29.99) from Decathlon Shop is much more sporting for the same job - better sensitivity and it bends double under the weight of a 1lb flounder.:D....

A salt flattie 1-3oz I float spin and of course flattie bash with it lol 11ft even though it states 11ft 6"???. Can be used with a multi or a f.s. , I prefer f.s. method with a size 5-6000 reel and 8lb braid mainline with a 30lb shocka ,bites and sport all the way
