Had a trip down chapel st. Leonard's early sat morning. Arrived at 8 bells in glorious sunshine.

Found a cafe and stuffed our faces with a big breakfast before getting our gear out and making the short walk to the beach.

No need for waders just shorts and bare feet. It was like the tropics not a cloud in the sky to begin with. Some people were paddling around but that never Put the fish off.

Had 16 smoothies between us on the daylight flood tide till about 3. Biggest was easily between 10-12lb. Most of them between 4-10lb.

Apparently, it's hotchin once the sun goes down!

Wish it was on our doorstep. Don't think I've had a more relaxing session fishing. No cliffs, walking and everything you needed within a 2min walk.

Haven't got a clue how to add a couple of photos.

Cheers Ivan. Fosters (top pic) is the biggest of the day. It was like a football it's back.

Must invest in new phone for picture quality. Plus, need some after sun for my burnt legs! :D

Good session by the looks of it Peter, I expect you'll be doing all your fishing barefoot & in shorts from now on - no more leaky waders lol!

Gary :)
