Anyone ever tried these before? Just bought some off Ebay, £7 for 24 baits, delivered. Seemed like a canny price I thought so worth a try. They arrived today and they're bigger than I expected so looking forward to giving them a crack this weekend hopefully (although sadly not on the boat, judging by the terrible forecast :( ).

Just wondered if anyone else had tried them? The description that came with them made them sound like the best thing since sliced bread (or sliced peeler maybe?). ;)

just a thought likes of smoothhounds will take any type of crab maybe a try with them if ya out targeting them but worth a try :o

It's like when they sell bottles of peeler crab oil, where the hell do ya get peeler crab oil from?!?!?!?! I've had loads of crab and never got any oil out of them! :red:

Oil can be taken from any animal or plant, through different processes BUT the oil your talking about is probably synthetic, 1 lonely crab would probably give you 10ml at most.. which would make it VERRRRY expensive for the 250ml bottle lol

pure crap this man should ware a mask ,the catch report should be good,NOTHING,sorry mate you have been ripped, you would have a better chance with frozen mackrel

i bought some of them nuggets a while back , they were nowt special i think i had a few whities on them but i was tipping ragworm off with them ,so was probably the worm doing the job , i think they fell to pieces when i was using them.

if you want crab baits for the boat either use fresh or frozen peeler or the bait they call CART (the insides of edible crabs) which is tried and tested and available from guys on the whitby fishing forum.

Oh well, fair do's then!! :( I'll still give them a shot on a spare rod, might as well! I have stocked up on plenty other frozen bait, lug, blueys, squid, mackerel, but didn't have any crab so thought Id give these a shot. You live and learn I guess! :red:

I'll have to get some proper peeler crab then instead. I was wondering, would you find peelers in a harbour when the time is right? Seaton Sluice harbour to be exact. I could easy leave a few tyres round my boat (there's already some there in fact for the moorings etc.). Would be ideal if you could because I could just scrape some out before I go out on a trip! :D

please dont leave feedback until you have tested them, these guys have 100% as i reckon folk judge it when it arrives rather than actually use it first

m,y mate brought some along one night and not even the 5 inch whiting we were catching 3 at a time on other baits would touch it

You can save yourself the trouble and message him saying "I've received the Item in question and will return it UNOPENED for a full refund, I've took advice about this bait from a trusted fishing forum, all members who purchased these were very disappointed, they said "you could buy 7 decent peeler crabs that will catch". Thank you

Just so your not lying if you copy and paste this I give you, You could buy 7 decent peeler crabs that will catch :D
