IMO 20lb fluorocarbon 2-3ft tied direct with an improved Albright or Yucatan. If your fishing over clean ground then drop down to 15 lb

Good quality flourocarbon has high abrasive resistance, I fish a lot of very shallow reefs 20lb is the highest I go normally I use 15lb for general lure fishing with 16lb 1.0 pe braid.

I Use 20lb Nanofil, with 15lb Fluoro for general luring, same as above just a few feet of it. I use Uni-Uni knot.

I use Sunline fluorocarbon leader and Yuki invisible fluorocarbon leader from 4lb to 20lb max dependant on what I'm fishing for and where. Always with a double Albright knot.
