I hav just got a 7000 ci what is the best line to fill it with to fish beach clife pier

i got a 6000 and ive just beefed it up to 30lb with a 60 leader. this give the confidence of knowing you can haul a decent fish through kelp or up a pier. if rough ground ill use rotten bottom and a slightly weaker trace.
normaly i use 15 or 18 but when ya hear reports of 19lb fish............:0)

Just stick 30lb on but if your going to give if a good cast use a shock-leader

you wont get much 30lb line on a 6000 sized reel

youll be lucky if you manage 50 yds mate or if you do you wont have much line left after the cast

f1 is pants go along wth big phil berkley trilene/ daiwa sensor also very good.

never had any bother with f1 but had dodgey spools of both sensor and trilene.

F1 northern rock was the best in the rough stuff. Was very springy mind but don't make it anymore. If was going straight through with 30lb it would be Berkley big game or Ultima power plus.
