Fishbase.org lists their spawning season as March through July, so presumably we catch them when they move into shallower water than normal to breed. After that I guess they head back out into much deeper water.
get that report posted now as we want to know the score for tomorrow. Well done mate the first ling of that size i have heard about being caught in december.
LoL Dave..well it cany hurt to hit a close inshore wreck if the ground is not producing.Just checked the weather and the sea is flat with 7mph light west winds and its going to be a warm dry day..roll on the cod/ling
