Ling

I'm going to try for a ling tomorrow , I've not fished for them yet this year , but there are some crackers coming to the boats up and down the coast , so if the drift is reasonable and I can catch a mackerel and I'm not filling the boat with 20lb cod , and I don't get struck by lightening .......I'm going to have a go for them at slack water about lunch time

good luckmate all ya need is a 5ft flowing trace with macky flapper attached to 8/0 hooks and bobs your uncle

nearly guaranteed to get 1 if can get some fresh maky with blood ooozing out of it everytime you reel in i would put fresh piece on to keep that scent going best of luck hope you get a biggy.
