hi everyone , its been a while . was out last week for the first time in months . fished a place called marerio in stavanger . bait used was mackeral and shrimp.
set up using pully rig and cast out about 60 meters ( 50 meters dept ) according to the maps . Anyway nothing for the first hour , then changed to a combo of mackeral and shrimp . cast it out around the same spot and within 10 mins the rod was almost pulled into the fjord .
struck into it and my god what a fight i thought it was a 10lb er
anyway it hung me up for about 5 mins and then i decided to bully it a little , managed to get it to the shore and pull it in , nice 4lb ling .first time i have caught one. so thats a new PB for me ;-)
ill see if i can post some pics its been a while so im not too sure on how to do it
out again tomorrow to another spot , acording to the map im using its 100 meters deep from 50 meters off the shore line
