hi marksworld me and a few mates are going on to the north pier at around 5 you should pick up flatties whiting and a few codling i fished the south pier on sunday night in the amble club match and got 2 cod for 10lb and lost a couple on the lift there was still a bit sea running then though so i would think the north pier would be best its a good walk but worth it, im not sure were you mean by the little bay mate.

hello daz, was told the little bay was down from the kids paddling pool, up near the big white house. if i fish the noth breakwater and if i remember correct do you park in the caravan park and is it about a 3/4 hour walk or am i thinking of craster to to castle point lol. i might have a hike down for, see how i feel after work. cheers daz

I might be wrong but I reckon your best bet would be to make the hike to warkworth pier and fish the north side of it on the ebb. The weather doesn\'t look bad today but watch yourself if there\'s a sea on.

aye park near warkworth caravan site and walk toward the beach.
Take the last track on the right (just before the dunes) It twists round a bit but is sooo much easier than walking on sand.

marksworld if you take the first right over the bridge at warkworth and drive straight down to the car park walk down the steps and head along the track its only about a 20 min walk mate. the area your on about in front of the paddling pools at amble is called the quarry wall its best fished on the last 2 hours of the flood and 1st hour of the ebb but it only really fishes if theres some sea on mate.

dazt, can you offer any good shots between amble / hauxley? am often there in summer (mothers caravan) and couldn\'t see anything obvious last time I had a look at bottom spring tide.

might do m8 and if i feel lazy might head to hadston area and if i feel realy lazy newbiggin prom. i think i fancy a change so might give northside a blast :D

cheers

hi lemmylad the rock ledges at hauxley are good shots all year round for cod and coalfish but seek advice and have a good look around at low water before you fish them there are many marks there to try. in between amble and hauxley you have the whitehouse sands which is a medium to rough ground beach this fishes best in the winter 2 hours either side of low water you can get some good bags of cod from there hope this was of some help but if your ever up just give me a shout and ill show you the marks. cheers daz.
