Fished next to the old pipe on the little haven beach south shields today 11.45am - 4.15pm caught a coley 40cm and two small flounders all returned the first was take an hour after the tide turned then nothing till 3pm and the last on my last cast, baits used were rag, lug and bluey two fish were caught on bluey and one on rag and lug mixed, I used two rods one close in this was the flounder rod it got a bit windy at the end of the session then I got soaked putting the gear in the car but still had good day
