Lobster

Kayos texted me this morning saying that the local fishmonger had live lobster in and he would buy one and make me a lobster salad for tea. I looked forward to it all day, as I have not had lobster before.

In his flat I am confronted with the sight of a live lobster wriggling about on the worktop! "I couldn't bring myself to kill it" he says. "Christ sake give me the knife and I'll dispatch it!" I Had to take the meat out as well !

What a pathetic woos Kayos is!!!

You can, but pretty cruel. A knife straght through the head, quick and no suffering. Saw it on Saturday Kitchen!

That's nice, I spent a fortune on buying her a Lobster and all I get is abuse!

It was the eyes that got me, they follow you around and looks like they have eyelashes, freaked me out. Herself though just plunged the knife in and popped it in the pot. No detremental effect on the meat whatsoever, it was gorgeous.

I will get the fishmonger to do it next time.............if I can afford it!!
