Local mark for heavy seas on the ebb

Can anyone recommend a decent mark between Shields and Horden that fishes well on the ebb in a heavyish sea?

I'm wanting to get out tomorrow from about 6pm but I don't want the frustration I had last Thursday: Roker pier closed, Seaham pier closed, beaches all covered in weed, etc. I've looked on the webcam and at the forecast and I'm expecting the same closures tomorrow.

Cheers

If its too big whitburn probably wont be fishable, didnt realise its as big as it is and winds forecast to get stronger.

Not a lot of the open coast marks will be fishable in that sea, you mught be better off fishing a mark in one of the rivers on the flood or waiting till it srops off during the week

If theres a big swell pushing into the harbour the brigade hut ir first gate might be worth a shot over high water

Or sand point and the cormorants in the wear will be worth a shot if it continues to get bigger

The sea is huge give me 30 mins and ill upload pics of the sea there's a huge sea on but no fish anywhere lads down the rubble to brigade hut haven't even had a knock all day only fish came off the end or by the 44 honestly mate if you get out be careful

The sea did look big on the webcam. Think I might just knock it on the head and try later in the week. The only problem being there are easterlies forecast all week.

Cheers all for the advice.

Thursday afternoon looking good, wind swinging westerly and it wont take a easterly long to flatten off so dont leave it too long

Theres been fish off the cliffs at ryhope and fish off hendon prom, they will be worth a chuck later in the week if you can get out and fish the flood.

The target will fish over low water but i dont know if youve ever fished it before
