Headed up Friday, finally arrived after nearly 6hrs. Decided to fish the castle Friday night and wasn't disappointed at all. Lovely clear night and not too cold. 3 of us fishing, pulled in 4 spurs, biggest just under a guesstamation of 8 1/2 9 lb. Scales only went to 7 1/2 and its was a fair bit bigger than a 6lber. Fished till 10 then called it a night. Fished the wind sock the following day, slow to start but then a few more spurs showed up. Back off to the castle for the night but poor compared to previous night. Still all managed a spur so not too bad.
Sunday decided to fish the loch its self. Priory poor, nothing then off over to taynault to fish the pier, again poor and then the rain started properly so time to back up and head home. Bait used was Macky, sand eel, squid and mussel. Most taken on macky.
