Loch Long

Going up to Loch Long in the morning with my son and brother in law. Taking boat up. Have heard of a mark from a dive site called conger alley beside Ardgarten. Intend to fish this of a night time. Anyone fished here before? Any info would be much appreciated.

Loch long used to be a superb place for cod and haddock, but trawled to death now, althouhg there\'s still supposed to be a few haddock there, like much of the west coast, pollack and coalies abound!

Cheers Mark. Yeah, fished it when I was a kid and had some good bags of codling. Pollack and coalies and mackerel will do nicely for me and my lad.

paul conger alley runs along the loch from the caravan park up to the pier south of the old torpedo firing range,its not far of the shore,100 to 150yrds.
