ow lads going 2 lock ken in a couple ov weeks time havent been befor. One ov my mates has been and says its a sea lock just wondering if any ov you have been and fished it befor some info and tips about bait 2 use up there would b a great help thanx ladds cod 007:thumbup: :thumbup:

lock ken is a fresh water lock it is a good place for the pike and bream but it is a bit early in the year for some good bags of bream .

fished the loch a couple of yrs ago went sea fishing one day next day on the loch . didnt take any light gear just used beachcaster 6500 20lb line and a big smelly mackeral flapper for pike . nowt happened all day then about an hour before we were due to leave a pike of just under 10lb took my bait . landed it tried to get my picture took with it but to be honest i was s@*t scared of it .
released it no problem obviously . lovely loch to fish wish i had took lighter gear would of been good fun on lighter tackle . one word of warning they always come to check your tackle
