Just out of interest, how many lads on here are season ticket holders?

Love the banter but this "we this" & "we that" from people who don't hand over their cash to watch the team makes me cringe.

fair play to em. Very nearly took a point off the Manc's which is no mean feat

threw my season ticket away for st james years ago. I was one of the saps that got shafted over the bond's

dont have to be a season ticket holder to support your chosen team a lot of people dont have the cash to spare at todays prices my other half offered to buy one for my b/day but with work I couldnt commit every other sat but still go to watch them when I can and buy all mine and the kids tops from supporters shops a true supporter sticks with the team through thick and thin not just when they get back in the prem league for a season or two

I don't buy tops, I'd rather spend my my cash on tickets, and if my young un doesn't behave I'll make him go next season as well. :D

took our middle girl to a intertoto game and there was 2 sets of goals for the warm up she asked why so I told her there were two teams playing on the same pitch it was half time before she noticed the other goal posts had gone she is now 15 and supports chealsea cos frank lampard is lush

been gan to the toon for 40 odd year and a ticket holder for nearly 35 and by have i seen some s+++e but i still love them.

I gave up away games when I discovered boat fishing, thought of chucking the home games as well a few times, but just keep going back, god knows why.

I've only managed to get to 2-3 games a season "in person" over the last few years...but I do subscribe to Sky Sports/Setanta so when the Toon get a showing then I'll watch em...and other teams too :o - it's nice to watch a decent game of football every now and again just so I can dream as what "we" could be like LOL

Anyway, got other things to spend however much it costs for a season ticket on - like me fishing for one thing :p:D

*mental maths*...cost of each drift over a wreck...Pirk £1.50, lost swivel, 2ft of braid, rubbing leader, hooks, bait - that sh*t stuff called crab (might not bother next year ;):p)....crikey :o I bet a spend a season ticket and then some on fishing :yltype:
