long rod advice needed

Hi folks am going to get a long rod trouble is dont know which one to get can anyone offer advice please greys triplex penn affinity twin tip or red metal twin tip

im using the ron thompson axcellorator 13ft best £100 i ever spent really good all rounder

Hi tatch and welcome to NESA. What length of rod are you talking about, I take it you mean 14'- 16'? What sort of ground will you be wanting to fish with it.

16 foot is what am looking for

The only one I can help you with is the Triplex, I only have the 14' but Steve used to have the 16' version. A nice rod for casting but no good over rough ground or if the sea is too rough. Nice to fish with on the beach if it isn't too rough though, you will feel every little nod of a fish and not just drag it in as you would if it was a rock rod.
