long session poor start better ending

fished from 2,30 till midnight
had a tourny between me and geordie baz againt makum codfather145 and makum mad rob 2 POUND a man for the longest fish
we headed to cat n dog steps 7 rods , 3 hrs later not even a bite
so moved to the rathouse
good move baz straight into a fish a small codling
then i get a eelpout
codfather decides to go for a walk so baz reels his rod in and cuts his hooks off then casts back out before he gets back ,we were like little kids giggling away to ourselves
met thunderpants off site down there the mans a legend fishing 3 rods he caught quite a few also just needs to pactice his casting kept tangling people up only joking mike nice fella

then rob catches a coalie 29cms put them into the lead
then i get another eelpout but im sure it was longer but robs dodgy measuring
then i caught a bird in my line it flew into so me and rob saved it

asked thunderpants if it counted on the species list lol
between us we had
eelpout,codling,flounder,coalie,scorpion fish and a bird



welldone rob on winning our mini tournament
plenty of sport but only small
COULD ANYONE TELL ME WOT KIND OF BIRD IT IS as we call them bait robbers

I love little fishing tricks like that, I once put a big rock in my brothers box before walking off the blast haha! When we got back to the car I showed him what I'd done he was too knackered to do anything about it! Until later :O

A few fish for you there lads, Nice one.
I went to fish Roker yesterday but it was shut. A fella on the ratty told me that some new surfacing that had been put on the pier had come away during the heavy seas. Don't know if this is true or not though.

Yes it was a good night and as for cutting my hook off that was another dirty trick from a Geordie ( just like the football team )

Ha, funny as fook that. Remember Norman when he had the tackle shop in Seaham putting a lump of iron in my dads bag with the bait etc. carried the bugger all the way to the end of the blast before realising lol
