I see he is asking for some funding or help in keeping this webcam going, am not sure about the rest of you but it saves me a 10mile drive when i look at the sea via his site, summer winter it will do for both.

Any chnace there is anyway we could help him get some sponsers or cash with all the contacts the NESA members have built up over the years? i dont want to give him money in hand really but abit funding and so on might keep his cam going for a few years.

Offered him a dedicated server to host it on, unlimited web space, unlimited bandwidth - didn\'t get a reply!

Anyone having any bother seeing the cam since the site changed?

All I get is \"sorry the image is no longer available except via the intended page\" even if I click on the new link and refresh.

Any ideas?

Still works for me.
Although (as the site now states) you have to click on \"refresh\" to update the image, now.

Cheers lads, it appears to be my Norton Firewall, if I disable it the webcam works fine. Strange because not much gets past the firewall at work.

You\'ll find it here, Alan:

http://www.elsom-cook.com/longsands/index.pl

Well.........you SHOULD find it there......lol

It\'s one of the webcam links in the \"TYNE\" section of the \"Sea State\" area.

you\'re firewalls are kicking it out because the page is no longer html but a perl script (.pl)

the number one way of performing DoS (Denial of Service) attacks and generally doing naughty things to windows operating systems and web servers in general.............
